Making Transparent KPOP Photo Cards NO HEAT - Kpop Transparent
So I've been trying to figure out how to make transparent photo cards with PVC and a laminator but can't find helpful tutorials ANYWHERE so I figured this way out... - Materials - • Scissors • A4 Printable Self Adhesive Vinyl Sheets - • Self-seal Laminating Pouches (Walmart) - • Straight edge cutter - • Optional: X-acto knife for trimming off sides of cut out that don't fit into laminating pouch) - • Optional: Corner cutter - 1. Design cards on whatever software. ** I HIGHLY recommend saving transparent (.png) files for this or editing photos into .png files so that when you print them, it wont waste ink around the image. It'll stay clear.** 2. Print them out onto the shiny/glossy side of the paper (be sure to set printer settings to photo paper and paper size to A4) 3. use a straight edge cutter (or scissors if you must) to cut the images down to size and as straight as possible. This is most important around the bottom of the cut out and the sides if they are straight. 4. Cut the image out. 5. Peel off back (like a sticker!) 6. Place cut out inside pouch onto the clear side. (DO IT PERFECT THE FIRST TIME.) 7. Use a credit card or something similar to smooth it out. If there are parts of the cut out that are sticking out, use and x-acto knife or scissors to cut the extra off. 8. (See video) Slightly start to peel paper off of other side of pouch and use a credit card again to smooth the layer onto the cut out. 9. Use credit card to smooth it out some more. OPTIONAL: You'll see that the bottom has a sliver of laminate that you are not able to put something inside.
